Spandura (Cordura/Lycra blend) (Styles: Endurance Racing Tights & Ultimates) Comes in 2 weights:

"Light Weight" Spandura: The "best choice" for hot, warm, or cool climates. It breathes extremely well and dries quickly. This wonderful fabric was designed for outer wear use in extreme sports like rock climbing and is very resistent to tears or snags. Spandura is made by the same folks that produce Coolmax. The manufacturers' intended use for Coolmax was for undergarments, however, and therefore doesn't meet our standards for durability as an outer garment. Spandura does however keep you just as cool. It's also the fabric used for NFL football jerseys.

"Winter Mid-weight" Spandura: The "best choice" for cool to cold weather, depending on how active the ride. This is the fabric choice for winter mountaineering. It is a bit heavier than the "Light Weight", but still very supple, with a downy knap on the inside. It also has all the same tear and snag resistent qualities that our other Spandura weights have.

A "good choice" for warm to hot climates. It breathes and wears well and dries quickly, which makes it easy care with no shrinkage. If worn under another outer garment (as long johns) it's great in colder weather as well. For years it has been the standard for cool, comfortable and stylish active wear and comes in a variety of colors.
